Principal's Newsletter

Dear BCE Families,

I hope that this email finds you well and relaxed and enjoying your summer with your children.  Hard to believe that school starts this month (August 27^th).  Postcards with classroom assignments will be mailed out on Friday, August 23rd.  The office opens on Monday, August 19^th.

I am writing to let you know that I have been hired as the Director of Personnel for the San Lorenzo Valley Unified School District. This was a hard decision for me as I love BCE and the community and have served students at BCE for 16 years.  While I am excited to learn a new job, I am also sad to leave.  BCE is a special place with dedicated and innovative educators, as well as wonderful students and families.  I am confident that our exceptional learning community will work together to make the transitions as easy and seamless as possible for our students.

The principal position is being advertised through Monday, August 19^th with interviews being scheduled for that week.  I will be preparing BCE for the start of the 2013-14 school year, and will move to my new role once the new principal has been hired and is situated.  

It has been my honor to serve the BCE community and I look forward to serving SLVUSD in a new capacity.
