Lice ~ Just the word itself makes your head itch doesn't it?  Unfortunately it's that time of year we tend to see more cases and something that most of have to deal with at some time or another. Here is a good link that talks about lice and ways to manage it if it becomes an issue in your household. https://www.akronchildrens.org/cms/tips/head_lice

FALL BOOK FAIR:  November 18 – 22

Help still needed, please volunteer for one shift of 30 to 75 minutes.  Sign up online via: http://www.signupgenius.com/go/30E094AA8A622AB9-fall/3475661

WALK/JOG-A-THON:

Pledge dollars returned as of Tuesday have been counted, and a BIG "thank you" to all of the families who turned in their donations.  We are doing well, but have received pledge sheets and money from only 30% of our students.

We need all families to get those pledges in.  If we meet our goal with our fall fundraisers, it will not be necessary to have an additional fundraising push this year.

We have extended the classroom competition until Tuesday, November 26th.  All classrooms that bring in $250+ will be awarded playground equipment (balls, jump ropes, hula hoops, frisbees etc.) for recess.

If you have not yet turned in your Walk/Jog-a-Thon money, please do so by Tuesday, November 26th.

Donate online via our website: https://sites.google.com/site/bceparentsclub/. Please note student and teacher names in memo box in order for the donation to count in the contests.  Checks are to be made payable to BCE Parents Club.   100% proceeds stay at BCE!

FAMILY DINNER NIGHT @ RED PEARL:  Wow, the 2nd Grade Class earned $456!

Wednesday was Red Pearl's biggest BCE Family Dinner Night ever!  The Red Pearl was so overwhelmed by our turnout they are already planning improvements for their February FDN to ensure quality food and faster service.  Thanks for supporting BCE by eating local!
