BCE Bearmail 12/5/14

December 5, 2014

Dear BCE Families,

I hope all of you had a wonderful Thanksgiving break.  I can't believe it's just two more weeks until Winter Break is here!

PLEASE note that Winter Break this year runs from December 22nd through January 5th.  That means that school will not resume until Tuesday January 6th.

Canned Food Drive ~ The Valley Christmas Project Canned Food Drive is up and running.  Please send in your non-perishable donations to help support families in our community.  This is a great opportunity for our children to discover the good feeling we receive when we do good things for others.

BOULDER CREEK ELEMENTARY'S HOLIDAY GIFT SHIFT!

Please mark your calendar for the annual BCE Gift Shift, on Friday December 12th, 12:00 - 6:00. We will be collecting gently used toys, books, videos, and video games; however, we do not accept clothing items.  This year we would also like to have a section with items suitable for children to give to adults.  Donations can be delivered to the Office at Boulder Creek Elementary until we set up everything on Thursday, December 11th.

Then please plan to come to the Gift Shift on December 12th!  All families are welcome to come.  Select and take home free gifts for your children and let your children possibly select something for you, or a sibling; while demonstrating the spirit of recycling.  Remember, you don't have to donate to participate.  Children must come with an adult, but adults don't need to come with children.
