BCE Bearmail 10/23/15

October 23, 2015

Dear BCE Families,

Halloween - There are a few guidelines regarding costumes.  Costumes should be in good taste and safely constructed so that they do not interfere with regular class activities.  Gruesome costumes and bloody, fake wounds are not appropriate for an elementary school.  Weapons (including fakes), skateboards and roller blades are not allowed as part of costumes.   If you are unsure, please contact your child's teacher or the office before purchasing the costume.  The Halloween Parade is slated for Thursday, October 29th at 9:00 am on the upper playground.

No School – Just a reminder that there is no school for our students next Friday, October 30th.  It is a teacher workday and our staff will be being trained in new and exciting curriculum practices in Writing Workshop.

Did you know???

Children learn by imitating what they see. Please model the BCE Way by not taking a short cut through the parking lot.  Please walk around the perimeter on the outside of the chain border.

Wishing you all a wonderful weekend!
