Dear BCE Families,
Reminder = Just a reminder that our BCE Parent Club, Silent Auction and Dinner event, that had been scheduled for tomorrow evening, has been cancelled. The Silent Auction will be held during the BCE Carnival on May 12.
Congratulations! = A big SHOUT OUT to three of our own BCE Bears for their great show at the Santa Cruz County Science and Engineering Fair. In the Elementary Division, Louis Kressman and Mason Booth took first place in the Animal Science category for the project, Amazin' Rats. Helaina Fields-Rapley received a Project of Merit award in the category of Energy and Transportation for her project, Root Vegetables and Tubar Energy. Congratulations! We're so proud of you all!
Safety ~ There have been concerns recently about young children playing on the structure, running on the upper field, or playing tetherball before the final school bell to signal the end of the day. Mrs. Wels and Mrs. Long are conducting PE classes on the upper playground until the final bell rings. Please be respectful of campus space during school time and help keep everyone safe.
Please help ~ Please return the yellow form you received asking if your student will be returning to BCE next year. That information is critical to our staffing plan. Thank you for your help.
Amazon ~ Our Parent Club participates in the Amazon Smile program. Signing up is easy! All you need to do is go to smile.amazon.com or click on the Amazon Smile button on our Parent Club home page (https://sites.google.com/

"When you write, you take the ball and you hold it up to the light and you turn it slowly, and let other people draw their own conclusions. And try to bring empathy to all sides of the equation."

Thank you for supporting your student by getting them to school every day and on time!
Wishing you all a wonderful weekend.
