THANK YOU ~ Thank you all for your generous donations to the Gift Shift, the Canned Food Drive and Breakfast Club! What a great example of kindness and compassion you are for our students.
Family ~ One of the many advantages of being in a small community is being part of a large family. We're there to celebrate each other success and available when someone needs our support. As you may have heard, one of our kindergartners has been diagnosed with leukemia (ALL). Many people have asked if there is some way they can help so I wanted to forward you this information.
One of our parents has established a donation account for the student's family with an organization called GiveForward, which gathers funds for distribution to the family. If you would like to make a monetary donation, which the family will use for necessary expenses like gas for hospital trips, meals, and learning tools for Oliver, visit the site below.

At Home Keyboarding ~ Student accounts, 2nd through 5th grades, have been set up at www.typingweb.com. Parents can contact their child's teacher for logon information.

- Monday 12/16 = Gift Shift, 12:00 pm – 6:00 pm
- Wednesday 12/18 = 1st Grade Sing, 7:00 pm
- 12/23 – 1/3 = No School = Winter Break
Attendance Facts = Did you know that BCE has the lowest attendance percentage of all the schools in the District? Let's work together to be the school with the highest rate of attendance!

Safety Tip of the Week: Please be aware of the bus zones and help us keep the lanes open for the safety of our students and to allow the buses to arrive and leave on time

Wow, we had another successful Family Dinner Night on Wednesday. We were able to raise $411 for the 3rd Grade Class. Please thank Justin and Boulder Creek Pizza and Pub for supporting us throughout the year and for hosting these fun family nights for BCE.
