Dear BCE Families,

 

Welcome Back! ~ We're off to a great start and 2014-2015 promises to be another outstanding school year here at BCE.  It was wonderful to see so many of you at the Principal's Coffee on Tuesday.  We have such a great community to support our students here at BCE. Thank you!

 

Valley Fave ~ The Press-Banner has again selected Boulder Creek Elementary as a 2014 Valley Fave!

 

Current Student Information ~ It's been a great first week of school.  Thank you for updating your student's information in InfoSnap.  It's important that we have up to date contact and medical information for each student.

 

Reminder ~ There is no school on Monday, September 1st in recognition of Labor Day.  Enjoy your 3-day weekend.

 

Breakfast Club ~ Student Nutrition Services (SNS) is now serving breakfast in the Multi Purpose room before school.  All students at BCE are eligible to enjoy this free service.

 

 If your student has dietary restrictions, and will be eating school lunches, Student Nutrition Services (SNS) will need to be notified.  You can obtain the correct form and forward it along electronically, by clicking on the LINKS tab on the BCE website.

 

Parent Club ~ Our September Parent Club Meeting is scheduled for Thursday, September 11th in the MP room at 6:30 pm.  All BCE parents and guardians are automatic members.  Free babysitting will be provided.

 

Site Council ~ If you are interested in serving on the Site Council for the 2014-15 school year, please complete the attached application and return it to Margaret Zavaroni in our office no later than Friday September 19th.

 

Up Coming Dates to Remember

  • Monday 9/1 = No School (Labor Day)
  • Tuesday 9/23 = School Picture Day
  • Friday 10/31 = No School (Teacher Work Day)

Attendance Facts:

These first few weeks of school are so important for your student's success this year.  Teachers are working daily to establish routines and develop communities that will lay the foundation for a great school year.

 

Thank you for supporting your student by getting them to school every day and on time!

 

Safety Tip of the Week:

We have a large number of students arriving before 8 am.  There is no on-campus supervision until 8:10 am.  For their safety, please do not drop children off before 8:10 am.

Parent Club Information

The first meeting of the new school year is Thursday, September 11, 2014 at 6:30 p.m. in the Multi-Purpose room.  ALL are welcome.  We will be review and approving the Clubs Operating Budget and Events Calendar for the School Year.
 
Meetings are Peanut Free and Scent Free.  Babysitting always provided.

BCE FAMILY DINNER NIGHT:  Boulder Creek Brewery and Cafe, September 10, ALL DAY
 

The BC Brewery will be kicking off the 2014-2015 BCE Family Dinner Night program. They will donate 10% of the ENTIRE DAYS's proceeds to the 5th Grade.  See you there!
