Thanksgiving Holiday ~ Please remember that our Thanksgiving break begins Wednesday.  I wish all of you a wonderful Thanksgiving and I for one will be giving thanks for having the privilege of working with these amazing students, fabulous families, and sensational staff!

Canned Food Drive ~ The Valley Christmas Project Canned Food Drive is off and running.  Please send in your non-perishable donations to help support families in our community.  This is a great opportunity for our children to discover the good feeling we receive when we do good things for others.

BOULDER CREEK ELEMENTARY'S HOLIDAY GIFT SHIFT!

Please mark your calendar for the annual BCE Gift Shift, on Friday December 12th, 12:00 - 6:00. We will be collecting gently used toys, books, videos, and video games; however, we do not accept clothing items.  This year we would also like to have a section with items suitable for children to give to adults.  Donations can be delivered to the Office at Boulder Creek Elementary starting the week after Thanksgiving Vacation.  We will set up everything on Thursday, December 11th.

Then please plan to come to the Gift Shift on December 12th!  All families are welcome to come.  Select and take home free gifts for your children and let your children possibly select something for you, or a sibling; while demonstrating the spirit of recycling.  Remember, you don't have to donate to participate.  Children must come with an adult, but adults don't need to come with children.

Up Coming Dates to Remember

  • Friday 12/12 = Gift Shift
  • 12/22 – 1/5 = No School (Winter Break)

Attendance Facts = Just by being present at school, your child is learning how to be a good citizen by participating in the school community, learning valuable social skills, and developing a broader world view.

Thank you for supporting your student by getting them to school every day and on time!

Safety Tip of the Week: Please remind you student to walk safely in designated areas.  Our wet fall weather often limits visibility and makes walkways and stairs slippery.

Wishing you all a wonderful weekend and Thanksgiving Break!
