BCE Bearmail 11/6/15

November 6, 2015

Dear BCE Families,

Family Science Night ~ It was so great to see so many of you last night at our Family Science Night! What a wonderful Parent Club we have to organize such an educational and magical event.

No School – Just a reminder that there is no school for our students next Wednesday, November 11th. We will join the rest of the nation as we celebrate Veterans' day and honor the men and woman who have served our country.

Reminder ~ Please remember to always check-in at the office anytime you are on campus to volunteer, pick up your student early, or even to drop off a lunch.  Thank you for helping us keep our school family safe.

Family Conferences ~ Conferences will be held the week of November 16th through the 20th.  If you have not yet received sign-up information from your student's teacher, you should be receiving it soon.

Dismissal times for Conference Week are as follows: (Note that these are NOT early out times.)

      • Kindergarten:  11:50 am  (There will be no Kindergarten bus – the regular bus will leave at 12:20 pm)
      • Grades 1-3:    12:10 pm
      • Grades 4, 5:   12:15 pm

Our Thanksgiving Break this year is a week long.  There will be no school the week of November 23rd – 27th

BCE Book Fair ~ The Book Fair will take place in our library from 8am to 5pm during Family Conference week, 11/16 – 11/20.  Our book fairs are the only source of funding available to our library and all profits go to purchase new books and library equipment for BCE students.  When you're visiting campus for your student's conference, consider stopping by for a look and perhaps even some holiday shopping!

Did you know???

Students can fall behind if they miss a day or two every few weeks.

Thank you for supporting your student by getting them to school and being on time every day!

Wishing you all a wonderful weekend!
