Dear BCE Families,
Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. ~ Just a reminder that this is a three day weekend as we celebrate the birthday of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Dr. King would have been 87 years' old this year had he lived.
Bingo ~ I hope you were able to join the fun last Friday in our MP. I want to send a BIG thank you to our Parent Club for hosting this wonderful event, to Justin at Boulder Creek Pizza for donating all the pizza to support the Science Camp fund and to the 5th grade families who provided the bake sale items. A fun time was had by all!
Science Fair ~ If you have the opportunity to stop by the Multi Purpose Room next Thursday, you will be able to experience the amazing BCE Science Fair! Students from all grade levels will be displaying the learning's from their science projects. Parent volunteers will be there to allow after school visitors from 6-7:30 pm.
Absences ~ If your student will be absent from school due to illness, please call the BCE Attendance Line at 338-2887. Please call every day until your student returns and let us know how their recovery is going.
Flu Season ~ As we're in the middle of flu season, please remind your students to wash their hands with soap and water on a regular basis. Donations of anti-bacterial wipes are also always appreciated.
Bear Wear ~ I am excited to announce that BCE spirit wear order forms are available! You should have received an order form from your student's teacher and more are available in the office. While our Parent Club is organizing the sale, this is not a fund raising event. This allows prices to remain low in the hopes that more families will be able to show their BCE pride. Orders and payment are due to your student's teacher or the office no later than next Friday, January 22nd.
