Dear BCE Families,

Walk/Jog-a-Thon ~ There was walking, there was jogging, there was water drinking, orange eating and lots and lots of proud smiles, what a great success!  Thank you Melanie Dudley and ALL our amazing parent volunteers who helped coordinate this fun event. Our BCE community is the BEST!

Bee Assembly – On Thursday our students enjoyed an assembly and learned fun facts about honeybees and their importance in supporting our environment. Thank you Jacquie Spracklen and Liz Chisler for arranging this educational and fun assembly.

Math Madness ~ If you joined me last Friday evening you know what a great success Math Madness was! Thank you Tammy Schultz for organizing the evening and sharing all those fun math games.

Amazon ~ Our Parent Club participates the Amazon Smile program.  Signing up is easy!  All you need to do is go to or click on the Amazon Smile button on our Parent Club home page (  After you sign up all you need to do is go to the page and shop as usual.  A percentage of every purchase made through Smile Amazon will be donated to BCE.  For more information please check out our Parent Club home page or visit

Need Kindergarten? ~ Kindergarten registration for Fall 2016 has begun!  Visit the BCE office to pick up a registration packet and sign up for a spot to attend one of our two remaining Kindergarten orientations and tours. Tours will take place at 9am on April 14th, and May 27th.  Please call or stop by the office to reserve your spot.

Children must be five years old by August 31st in order to enroll in Kindergarten.  If your student has a September, October or November birthday you might be interested in our Transitional Kindergarten (TK) program at the Ludlow Center in Felton.  For more information you can call 335-4475.

BCE Parents Club Positions for the 2016 – 2017 school yearNow is a good time to start thinking about applying for Parents Club board and committee positions. We will need officers and volunteers to run fun family events. In the next couple of weeks, be on the look out for details to come home with your child.
